Global Intergenerational Week Celebration

LAET recently partnered with Generation Exchange to host a wonderful Intergenerational Event to mark Global Intergenerational Week, celebrating the connections between our students and older local community members. 

The evening opened with fantastic musical performances by our students, setting the tone for a series of engaging workshops. Highlights included a lively Zumba masterclass led by Year 12s, a board game session fostering friendly competition, and a crochet workshop where members of our Crochet Club exchanged tips and techniques with our guests. 

A heartfelt thank you to Leonie Eisenberg from Generation Exchange, our Co-curricular and Events Coordinator, Maayane Ben Ari, and all the student volunteers who made this meaningful evening possible.
