Fundraising for Tottenham Foodbank!

We’d love your support – whether that’s cheering us on or donating whatever you can to help fight food poverty in Tottenham! View the donation link here!

Based in the heart of North London, in the iconic Victorian Tottenham Town Hall, Tottenham Foodbank serve people hit hardest by the cost of living crisis: families, older people, disabled residents, and individuals facing hunger for the first time—those who never imagined they’d need a foodbank, but whose lives changed due to illness, job loss, bereavement or rising costs.

Every week, Tottenham Foodbank provides parcels containing at least three days’ worth of nutritionally balanced food to individuals and families in urgent need. But they also offer more than food: they signpost to support services, campaign for long-term change, and work in deep partnership with local organisations to challenge the root causes of poverty.

27 staff and alumni will be completing Tough Mudder this Sunday, 11th of May

How your donation can make a difference

Below are testimonies from people who have benefited from the services Tottenham Foodbank offers.

"Health problems meant I could no longer work. My benefits barely covered my bills, and I started falling into debt. I became so desperate I thought about stealing food just to survive. Tottenham Foodbank helped me hold on to my dignity and get the support I needed. Without it, I don’t know what I would’ve done."

— James, 60

"I fled war-torn Ukraine with my 11-year-old daughter after our city was bombed. We arrived in Haringey with nothing. Coming to Tottenham Foodbank has helped us feel safe and supported during the hardest period of our lives. It reminded me there’s still kindness in the world."

— Maria, 53

I was left to raise my daughter alone after escaping an abusive partner. The first place we moved brought more difficulty— an abusive landlord who threatened us, forcing me to leave again because I was scared and didn’t feel safe. With no family support and no way to afford childcare, I couldn’t work and struggled to put food on the table. Finding Tottenham Foodbank was a lifeline. For the first time, I felt like people truly cared. The support I received didn’t just help me — it gave me hope. Now, I’m focused on starting a new life for me and my daughter. Things are still not easy, but they are better. This support is helping me take the first steps toward a better future.
